I am a big fan of Nutro. I did a lot of research on cat foods recently. Wellness, Nutro and one other (can't remember name it was one i never heard of before) all test better then Iams or Science Diet. Nutro and the others had less ash and no by products. Your best bet would be to talk to a vet. Or just test and see how it works.
