A scared mouse.....

This poor mouse doesn't know which way to run because he's confused on how many cats are in the room. Can you help him figure it out?



If a room with eight corners,

has a cat in each corner,

seven cats before each cat,

and a cat on each cat's tail,

how many cats are in the room?
