Thank You to everyone who has sent GLOWS during this horrible time. This whole experience has left me mentally exhausted. Frankie rushed him to Syracuse emergency clinic last night at midnight. While he was there Atticus had a short examination. They told Frankie that they thought he swallowed something, like a string was lodged in his intestines and they wouldn't do any work without a down payment of $524. Seeing a down payment bill like that... was like a punch in the stomach, but Frankie paid, optimistic that Atticus was going to be ok. At the same time Frankie walked in the door (3am) the Vet called and said it was kidney failure and didn't look good.. but to give him 12-24 hours to see if he might come around. At this point I had no idea the bill was as high as it was, and I agreed to hospitalize him. When I talked to her thismorning and found that it was already up to $650 and he had not improved, I had to euthanize him. I just want him back and I feel like I cannot deal with his loss. I fell in love with him so fast, and I just need his little face around the house. We spent all our savings on my baby boy that is gone. I would have gladly paid $1000, anything I had, to have him back... but now my money is all gone and so is my baby. I can't hold him anymore. He was my love.. he slept with me every night... followed me everywhere I went.. was just incredibly precious in every way. I find that of all the pets I have lost... his is one of the most difficult. Frankie is going to pick his body up tonight after work and we are going to bury him here. I thank everyone again for the GLOWS and support.. I hope with each passing day this becomes easier to handle because right now I am an absolute mess. Thank you again...
