Posted by: crbovee at Mon Oct 9 19:40:44 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by crbovee ] For my cats at least, I cut the tablets in half (they usually get 1.5 pills) and then wrap the kitty completely in a beach towel with only the head showing. I use the beach towel because its bigger and they can't get their legs out. I hold them in a baby position and pry open the mouth. You have to get the pill far back or they will just spit it up again. Also, I give the cats treats after I pill them (primarily so they won't hate me and I think the pills probably taste bad too). My oldest cat generally doesn't give me any trouble as she likes being held like a baby, but my two boys are wrigglers. Hope this helps! | ||
