The baby is really babbling - we got our first real words in the last week. Since Big Scary Man travels alot, it wasn't a surprise when her first word was "mama" (screamed several times in frustration from the crib) and not "dada" like so many kids. He was enchanted.



But he looked hurt when the baby and I were sitting in the chair - Annie jumped up on the arm to join us - and baby squealed out a cystal clear "hi!" to the cat (I normally greet Annie the same way)



If her next word is kitty he just might divorce me.
