How to hang toys from cat climber

Any suggestions on how to safely hang batting objects from a 6 foot cat climber made of carpet? I guess I could drill through or poke through and knot rope at one end. Anyone tried this or have other ideas?



I'm new to this website. I guess I don't know how to use the "search" feature because I looked up "toys" and "cat" and came up with zero. Interesting.
