RE: Amitriptyline prescription

I think that it's Elavil which is an antidepressant. I took it for about a year after I lost too many people in a short time period. It's really a milder antidepressent and I don't think that it's prescribed much anymore. I don't think that it's addictive because I just stopped taking it without cutting down or anything.



I wonder why the vet would give an antidepressant to a cat? But I guess that they do because I've heard of them prescribing Prozac for cats and prozac is an antidepressant too.
