Spayed female still behaving badly!

I had my female Persian spayed in December 2005 and its now February 2006 ~ she (for reasons unknown) goes through periods where she is mounting everything in site and doing that creepy muelling sound, as if she is in heat. What gives?

I love this cat, but the behavior is getting to be a little much.

She is one year old ~ any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you, Leo
