Hello,



I have a female mix breed cat, she's not even one year old yet, almost.

Anyway...for the longest time she would come up and lay above my head purring...walk on me and knead (sp?) my stomache in the middle of the night, purring.

She never liked being hugged or kissed that much, but she used to sit on the edge of the tub while I was in the bathroom.

Anyway...to make a long story short, she was MY cat, I was the person she wanted..

Now, I'd say for about 2 weeks, she hasn't wanted anything to do with me...completely acting as though I'm not even there, she'll walk right over me without even a glance, and now sleeps on the bottom of the bed under my dh's feet.

My question is, what would cause her to do this?

my husband and I are trying to have a child, could it be that she could tell if I was pg even in the very early days of it?

I just don't understand whats going on, I just want my cat back.
