While I don't have any reasons as to why Ziggy loves water, I can let you know he's not alone. My Cubbie has the same love of playing in the toilet, sink or even bath tub (both of which drip--more fun for him). With he and his friend Gizmo being long haired cats it's a pain in the you know what to clean cat fur out of the drains. So I just keep the bathroom door closed. That's the only suggestion I have really. Although, I live alone so I don't have to worry about anyone leaving any door open. But when people come over to visit I become quite a nag about closing the doors and putting the lid down! I'm always afraid they'll fall in the toilet!
