diarrhea in kitten

Hi, I brought home a bengal kitten a little over a month ago and he has had a problem with diarrhea. Obviously I have taken him to the vet and we are trying him on feline i/d for a couple of weeks. I was wondering if any one else has experienced this and if it was resolved. I have never had this problem with a cat before. Thanks for any info. Lionpearl
