Hi, I'm new here. I'm in desparate need of some advice about orphaned kittens. I'm in Japan where there are a lot of feral cats (much to my dismay) and some students picked up an about 5 week old kitten outside of school on Thursday. Being pretty much the only one willing to DO something for it, I have brought it home with me while I search for a home for it.
My question is... the kitten has only managed to pee (so far as I've seen) and I've tried the bowel movement "enticement" if you will, but he's still not pooping. I'm worried that something's backed up in his stomach, but he seems to be eating okay and hasn't thrown up or anything.
Can anyone help?
