Well I would keep an eye on him to see if he is acting ok. If he is eating and acting fine then give it awhile to see if produces a bowel movement. If nothing happens you might need to take him to the vet. I don't know how that works in Japan. I hope that he gets better. It is wonderful of you to take care of him when no one else will.
