Kitten Shots

My kitten is now about 2 months (10 weeks)and he has not had any shots. I just moved to Charlotte NC and do not know of any good places to take him. Does anybody know any low cost veterenarians around that can give him his kitten shots. Am I too late? What shots does he need? Just rabies and distemper? I am getting him fixed in a few months at the humane society, but they wont take him without his shots. I just graduated college and dont have tons of extra money, but want to make sure he is taken care of. Anybody know of any place?? Let me know!
