Liat is just too smart for me. I booby-trapped the LP's with duct tape, sticky side out. She was kept in another room so she couldn't see the trap going up. Since then, she hasn't even offered to scratch at that spot. She seems to know there is something going on thatshe won't like, so she just avoids it. I'm sure that when I remove the tape, the scratching will resume. It has happened before with traps. The trap goes up, the behavior changes. The trap comes down, right back to the old habits. I like to think I am a reasonably intelligent adult, but this cat has got me beat.



I do get a little revenge Friday, a trip to the vet for the annual checkup and shots. Of course, I will be on the dirt list for a day or two (she doesn't like the carrier).



Still, the fun outweighs the aggravation. Yesterday was dancing day for some reason. I thought I would bust a gut laughing at her.
