Dr I am so upset I am litterly sick and in pain.

My Missy is a finiky eater and if she does not like her food she will strarve herself! She has had one thing after the ohter wrong with her in the 2 years I have owned her - stomatitis, and omentum? (sticky scar tissue in her intestines) and a diaphragmatic hernia. All were surgically corrected, but after her surgery to get the hernia and scar tissue removed she never bounced back and even got an infection.

My Vet used to keep her for observation and once there she would start eating again.

Last time she did not and I got scared and asked him to do more tests on her. HE got angry and said she was fine and to take her hom.

A week later after going 5 days with only licking a bit of food she started vomiting. First a hairball but kept on goign.

I got scared and took her to another vet for a second opinion. HE did blood work and her kidney values are creatnine 2.3 Urine specific gravity 1026, BUT her BUN is 70 and she is slightly anemic.

I called the old Vet and told him and he sent in an RX for fluids for her BUT he also has her on baytril.

I just don't understand if this is regular kidney failure or what? I understood the creatnine was the one to worry about.

She is now on KD dry and canned and not eating it. Should I force feed her and what is your opinion of what is wrong wth her.

I cannot switch Vets again as she loves this vet and all his employes. They love her too and keep going to her cage and spending time with her. at the new Vet she was so scared she could not stop shaking!

As I said I am litterelly sick with worry and fear!
