Yard sales, classifieds, ebay.... Might try a pet store -Perhaps they get rid of some things after using? Rubbermaid cages/tanks are cheaper to put together than aquariums. Besides, with an aquarium you may end of shelling out more money to fix potential heat & humidity problems. Aquariums can be more work/money to maintain proper heat and humidity ranges, but to me it's worth it & possible.
