All depends on substrate. Some substrates wet can become breeding grounds for bacteria. And can lead to issues. Cypress is nice for misting. If you use paper towel I would just can the substrate for half the container. And put some wet moss in the hide box. Makes a nice humid hide and also allows the ball to dry out if he wants to.
