Richard (who owns a petshop in Lubbock and sells many wild nasicus along with his breeding projects) may be privy to one (?maybe) albino platyrhinos (c'mon guys, there aren't that many wild bloodlines of amelanistic corns), but the fact that no one can breed them is INCREDIBLY questionable. H.platyrhinos are easy captives and breed as readily as any cornsnake. Granted if you want them to eat you have to look at their natural history. Even if you can't fathom feeding them toads, scenting is quite reliable (stick with hairless rodents). Despite the redundant replies on this forum that platyrhinos are difficult; it's not true! If you feed them what they would normally eat they are among the easiest captives. However, I will tell you that if you expect most platyrhinos to eat unscented rodents you're on the road to nowhere. Simply put: they are specialists. Shane
