I know this will sound irresponsible, but I found this little guy in a petco, accidentally marked as a house gecko. As the cage right next to him had a dead house gecko in it, i decided to get him, and i got him for the "geen house gecko" price of 6.99, rather than the listed "grey mottled day gecko" price of 64.99. I've been doing nothing but reading about day geckos since i got him, and I think i have a pretty good begining for a home for him. 20 gallon tank with bed-a-beast for substrate, Some living bamboo for extra hiding and comfort and humidity, and a small folliage plant in the other corner. Temp of about 90 in the basking spot, and about 70 in the cool corner under the hidy hole. I'm trying to link some pics, but i'll post the link to my site too.
