Parthenogenesis? As in virgin Birth?

I just had a Phelsuma grandis, I think, (the big Phelsuma spp.) lay an egg. She has never been with a male before.
Do they often lay infertile eggs?
I rescued this one from a pet shop, and it has been living with my male Crested Gecko in a 55 gal planted vivarium.
I don't know anything about their breeding husbandry, but I gues I'll have to get a male. She has huge calcium stores. And, boy is she feisty...
