Looking for info on this strange ball "color change"

heres the story it started out looking like a normal after a couple of months she started getting lighter and the blak in the sides started showing I was told by the time its done the sides will be almost black with just light flaking of white.there was at least 2 that did this in the litter the other 1 was further along in the color change the sides are almost black on it. not sure how the pics look but this snake is pretty much black and white. I put here next to a normal , so you could see the color diference
