Go with a pair of 100% hets then. Breed them in a few years and make some albino's of your own. That's the only way of entrance into this morph if you're strapped for cash. Although I said "only way", you could actually buy some possible het albino's if you wanted to. You have to run the numbers (time, cost, probability, etc) and see what makes the most sense for you.
With respect to their market price of $2,000 to $3,000, it's the market (supply/demand) coupled with their egg laying averages. Balls average four eggs to a clutch whereas other snakes can average much larger numbers, some in the double digits.
Good luck to you in whatever path you take for acquiring albino ball pythons. I own them and they are magnificent animals!
