Don't even bother with Provent-A-Mite, Reptile Relief is awesome.

I've had 2 cases of mites (brought in by a new snake both times, obviously) since Reptile Relief came out. It was all I could find in pet stores too. I wanted to try it anyway because I read how gentle it is but I heard it doesn't work. I tried it anyway and got perfect results, in a short amount of time and it lasted forever. It took care of them after about 3 or 4 applications and that was just to make sure they were gone. You don't have to worry about it cause it's so gentle and it's so much easier than the whole PAM process. I always keep a bottle and use it occasionally for preventive measures. Just in case. Haven't seen a mite in almost a year but also haven't gotten any new snakes that were carrying them. Either way, it works.
