Reptile Releif and Provent a Mite work in two different ways, both are good at what they do. The one mite incident that I had, I treated all my snakes with Reptile Relief and treated the tubs, racks, substrate, etc. with PAM and haven't seen a mite since. I also retreated after 2 weeks just to be on the safe side. The down side with using just Reptile Releif is that it only works on what it come in immediate contact with and it doesn't kill the eggs. PAM lasts longer, and kills the eggs. I would recommend using both. Hope this helps.
