Tank for a baby ball?

I am getting my first BP soon (hatchling), and this weekend I will be buying a terrarium so I can start to get it set up before I get the snake. I am getting a terrarium instead of a tub because I think it will be easier to sell when I eventually get a bigger cage for it. So the question is, what size of terrarium will be best for the snake as a temporary home until he is big enough to move to a 40 or 50 gallon breeder tank? Also, how much flexwatt will I need (for whatever tank size you are recommending) Thanks.
