Pickerel in defensive mode

I shoot mostly natural shots and when I came across this pickerel frog I thought it would be a good opportunity to add another frog shot. As I was setting up he went into a defensive position. He continued to do this each time I shot (with a fill flash).

He was also one of the largest pickerels I have seen.
