Also, you can determin if an individual is a het or not by breeding it to a known het or to an albino.

If any albinos are produced then you know for sure that the one in question is a het. Breeding a het to a het does not guarantee any albinos, each egg produced has a 25% chance of being albino. It is possible to breed two hets and not get any albinos, but if you get a large clutch you should have at least one.

You have better odds of producing albinos from the one in question if you breed it to an albino. If no albinos are produced then it is almost certain to be a norm, but by breeding to an albino at least you have produced 100% hets.
