I was under the impression that Baytril or Flagyl are antibiotics, rather than a treatment to rid them of worms. I always wipe a thin layer of olive oil on my newbies to drown any mites they might have, over a period of a few days and followed by a bath to rinse the remaining grease/dead mites off them.
