Thanks. The spot where I flip logs looking for redbellies is full of slugs and redback salamanders. It's a forest right behind the barn where I found a redbelly in the open. Is there a certain time of day or weather conditions that would be better for flipping? I have read about Stewarts milksnake spot on the herp journal and on this forum (I remember the post he made when he found his first milks(s)) and it sounds good, but I don't know if I'll be able to go to Peterborough when I come in May. Thanks for your help,
James
