use a big box on a flat dolly this has been the easiest way to move them in my experience it's all about good wheels

put hat in the box or crate

i have also moved them in a wheel barrel

use caution and have an extra person hold them in while you move them

put hay in the bottom to make it snug

or rest the back of the shell on your belt buckle and go

anyway you slice it or dice it

It is hard work
