Never apologize for asking questions.. that's why this place is here so that you can ask.... or comment or post photos.

There are a lot of people who keep them in S. TX & in FL where it's much more humid than your region & they do just fine in the higher humidity.
I'll tell ya, I'm in W. TX where it's often too dry. There are days in the hottest parts of the summer (July) when I need to wet our sulcata down and I'll spray the walls of her home too because it's so dry that she starts having noisy breathing. It gets too dusty here & it bothers dogs and people too.

N. TX combined with the heat should be a good area for a sulcata to be outside especially if there's a lot of nice fresh grass mixed with weeds for one to graze.
