HELLO
THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE FEMALE IS TO SMALL TO GET AWAY
I KEEP THE SMALLER FEMALES IN THEIR OWN PEN FOR THIS REASON
WHEN THEY GET ABOUT 16 INCHES I WILL LET THEM OUT WITH THE BIGGER TORTS.
I WOULD SOAK HER AND THEN TREAT THE WOUNDS
THEY USUALLY DUMP THEIR WATER RESERVE WHEN THEY GET WHOOPED
I USE BETADINE I PROBABLY SPELLED THAT WRONG BUT IT IS AVAILABLE AT THE GROCERY STORE IN THE WOMAN SECTION.
I USE THIS AND IT SEEMS TO WORK WELL
THE VET RECOMMENDED IT A LONG TIME AGO
SHE WILL NEED TO BE SEPERATED AND MONITORED FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS
I WOULD NOT PUT HER BACK WITH THAT MALE UNTILE SHE IS ALOT BIGGER
OR MAKE SURE SHE HAS ROOM TO RUN AWAY AND HIDE FROM THE MALE
A SMALL PEN WITH NO HIDE SPOTS WILL LEAD TO REPEAT PROBLEMS
I HAVE HAD SMALLER MALES HAVE THIS HAPPEN ALSO
HOPE SHE IS OKAY
JEFF
