So for a while now, I was planning on purchasing a Canon XTi. The other day I saw a good deal on a Nikon D40x and bought it. The Nikon came with two lenses one was a 3x 18-55mm Nikkor lens, and the other was a 3.6x 55-200mm Nikkor lens. I guess my question is. Which is the better camera? I like the way the Nikon feels in my hands, but does the Canon take better pics? The camera guy told me that the Canon takes faster pictures. I'm not as interested in speed as I am for the quality of photos. Since I am totally green with these SLR cameras, any input would be much appreciated. I got a 90 day return policy with the camera.
