I think I am doing all the right things and still my going on 3 tort is getting a bit of the raised bumps on his shell. Feed mostly grass and clover mix, sunlight in the summer, UVB mercury vapor bulb in the winter and a soak every few days. I have heard that a bit of humidity in the sleep are helps too. I have recently changed his substrate to coir fiber maybe that will help keep it a bit moister.
