Thanks!! He's cute and sure is healthy. A friend of a friend who lives in the same neighborhood just called me over this past weekend and said she found another baby. Not sure what kind or what breed but she wanted me to come and pick him/her up since they have no idea about care.

(This is how I ended up with my Marginated Tort--he was found as a hatchling last year in the same neighborhood).

I haven't been able to get over to pick up the newer little one so I'm not sure what kind of tort it is. Obviously someone in that neighborhood has breeding torts and the babies are escaping. Every year they find a few dead babies in the road and I think that's why they call me rather then bringing them back. Maybe I'll go knocking on some doors to find out who's breeding and maybe advise to baby proof their yard a little better.
