With what I'm doing, I have a fairly large number of genes to manipulate where I don't have a good idea of modes of inheritance of individual genes or how the genes interact. I expect a large number of culls. That's the way it is with any type of animal when one is trying to establish a breed. With snakes, if the culls are healthy and reasonably attractive, they can be sold or given to friends. The simplest thing to do with unattractive and deformed babies is to feed them to kingsnakes. Saves on the food bill. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
