Adorama is good, but B&H is a little better in my experience. I have used both over the last 20 years (by phone before the internet) and I find B&H is the most dependable.
I have had Adorama describe an item as one thing (a Tokina 24-200 lens), but when they shipped it to me it was a cheap knock-off of the real thing (the same lens with the Cosina name badge). When I called them and asked about it, they said it was the same lens anyway and that's what I ordered. If I wanted to return it I would have to pay the shipping both ways (over $40) to return a $60 used lens.
Although they were built in the same factory and were structurally the same, when I came to sell it later, no one would pay me anything for it because it had the name badge Cosina.
That is the only problem I have had with Adorama over the years, but they are pushy on the phone and difficult to deal with for customer service. And they will try and "upsell" you or get you to buy a bunch of junk to go with your purchase. They also aren't always clear on what is gray market and what is US market stuff.
B&H isn't like that at all and that's why I haven't used Adorama in years except for stuff B&H didn't carry.
Plus, with B&H you can put your whole order in online and never have to deal with any sales people. ----- Chris Harrison San Antonio, Texas
