I have done extensive research on the internet and in books. And (as always) most or conflicting. The only thing that most seem to agree on is that the substrate shoud be able to hold humidity well, because hatchlings in the wild are live mostly in humid burrows, which is what they need for hydrationa dn normal shell growth (am I right so far?). Question: What substrate has worked for your hatchling? And upto what age would you consider this substrate(s) good until? Thanks for your help.
