I had my 4 month old (2.25 inches) sulky in a rubbermaid plastic box (L36"xD20"xH7". As the cold is approaching here in NY, I have transferred him to a glass tank (L48"xD13"xH12". Reason is, I cannot get appropriate gradient temperature levels. In the rubbermaid box, the basking may be at 95F, but everything where else is colder, around 75F. In the glass tank, the gradients are bett. The basking spit is about 95F, at the center is around 85F and at the other end, the cool zone is about 78F. Although I know that the rubbermaid, the little guy may get better air flow, I believe the glass tank, for now, is more beneficial. Any thoughts, anyone?
