Maybe I'll keep the idea of the 6 foot front door that swings down, but instead of the single pane of 6 foot glass inside that door frame, I'll have 2 sliding glass panes inside the door frame. So, I get the best of both worlds--easy access with the sliding windows on a daily basis for putting in food, etc., and on the rare occassions that I need to fully open the door (like when cleaning at which time she would be out of the cage anyway), I can fully swing open the door.
