I have had my boa for about 1.5 years now, and it was only a few months old when I purchased it. I am very confused as to whether it is a male or female. It is about 20" and is neither fat nor thin. It eats large hoppers, and will only eat live in it's cage. Currently housed in a 15 gallon aquarium with UTH, sand, and two hide huts (one cool side one warm side). My boa goes off food during the winter months, but doesn't look emaciated. When off food, I give water once a month. It hasn't ever had trouble shedding. Are there any other ways to tell the sex without having to spend the money on a herp vet and have the boa probed?
