One of our Female Tegus is A free Roaming Tegu in our house but we do keep an enclosure for her to get her humidity and basking in. she enjoys walking around the house and hanging out but i wouldnt advise it unless they are atleast 3ft (otherwise they tend to get places you wouldnt think of. haha

either way tegus are great pets and a joy to look at.
