I can say from experience that my tortoise collection has been a challenge.... I keep a sulcata, redfoot, leo, pancake, and 2 greeks!!! as they were all small for a while they were kept for the most part together but in large accomodations... i would have misters in the redfoots part but the rest of them like the dryer areas... I have been critcized for this and not without good reason... i do not regret doing it but it has been more work (that i dont mind doing) because now that my sulcata is bigger he has to be separated from the rest of them. It would be easier to keep the same species and probably better for them as well.. I started my collection as a novice tort owner and new I would eventually have to seperate them but figured i'd worry about that later.... now I have to do it. more yard space, more buildings, more equipment, more everything , and since they are family pets it would be very hard to get rid of any of them.....hmmm well guess I should get of this computer, I got tort pens to build!!!!BUT I LOVE EMMM [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
