Looks like I was one of many to inquire about them. Depending on locality, you might have gotten a spectacular deal. If I could have found out the locality info I would have snatched them up in a heatbeat. And unfortunately all baby P. poecilonotus look very similar.



As for feeding, I tease most off tongs. Some actually do well if you piss them off a bit by bumping their body. Once it their mouth, if you keep still, they usually eat. Some are much harder than others, but if you wear them out a bit (as they have tons of energy), they usually give in and eat instead of throwing the food backward and darting out of the enclosure.



One of my adult actually is very very shy and will not eat if you try this. She is also highly likely to regurgitate after any stress, so leaving the food in over night is better.



All of mine are on f/t, but I have given live to the stubborn adult female and she usually takes.



If you offer secure areas off the ground and put the food there, you might have a better chance too. Or leaving food with them while they are in a hide.



Bird scenting is also good.
