Hey everyone,
I'm doing several short educational presentations for elementary school kids on reptiles and their role in the environment. Can anyone point me toward a good source of information that I might use to research the Sulcata's role in the wild? Most of the sites I've found just give a brief intro and talk about captive care.

I know that they are found in scrublands south of the Sahara desert and are used by local people for food. Their burrows are used by other animals seeking shelter. I know that they are becoming scarce in the wild.

As these presentations are going to be fairly short and I have several reptiles to talk about, I just need the "bullet points" for the Sulcata.

Thanks guys.
