Hello everyone.

I've had my Corn Snake now since about July or August. It's about 4.5 feet long and lately it's been very very active. It won't eat and from the looks of it's skin it doesn't appear to be getting ready to shed.

I live in Florida where the weather is always nice. I've read that breeding season doesn't start till about March. I'm not 100% sure on the sex but when I hold the Corn Snake, I don't see any spurs near it's rear.

I've attempted to feed it 3 weeks in a row; ranging from a thawed mouse, small rat and live mouse (just today). The snake struck it immediately as if it were ready to eat but after the kill it went back to slithering around it's ViV. Nothing has changed what so ever...

Can anyone give advise as to why it's so active and won't eat it's kill.
