However, to say that wild green iguanas gets "a lot" larger than captive raised one based on her statement (without any science behind that statement) is presumptuous and false in my opinion. In my personal experience, with proper care, I believe that most captive raised iguanas (on average) grows faster and larger than ones found in the wild.
