Replace "dangerous wild animal" with "gun" or "automobile" or pretty much anything else.

This ruling is intellectually/logically/legally lazy and a dangerous precedent insofar as liberty is concerned.

It's the "One person wets their pants, and everyone has to wear diapers" mentality.
