I am wanting to get a new camera. I am most interested in the Nikon D5200 and D7100. Both have great image quality in dpreview. I am not sure which one to get and am still researching. I primarily want to take pics of people (portraits), landscape and of course my pets. The reviews say that the lens that come with these cameras are not very good. Which lens should I get? Please only list Nikon lenses. I know there are cheaper lenses but this is a learning attempt as well. As soon as I can pick a lens I can look for cheaper alternatives. Also, would a macro lens be the right choice to photograph snakes? If so, what should I look for in a lens? Also as far as the main lens, I would prefer zoom lenses.

Thanks,
Dan
